Catch the Winchester Brothers in Supernatural the Complete Season 4 on DVD

The Winchester brothers maintain their struggle against evil in Supernatural the Complete Season 4 on DVD. The collection of all 22 episodes of the year will be available on September 1, 2009 at various retailers everywhere. The Winchester brothers continue to fight all kinds of beings of paranormal proportions as they battle to keep Lucifer, the fallen angel himself, from breaking out of Hell and roaming free.
The collection has been available for fans to pre order since April at many online stores, even though for months there had been no set release date. There were many pre orders that were filled by fans brimming with anticipation for the collection, and now the wait is almost over. There are six discs in the DVD collection, and when September 1st comes it will have a manufacturers retail price of $59.98. The format that the collection will be presented in is the widescreen format.
As far as audio goes, there are different options available for those who watch the episodes. There is an English option, in Dolby Surround 5.1 and Portuguese Stereo 2.0 option as well. In addition, there are subtitles available in several different languages, some of these being Portuguese, Thai, French, Chinese, and Spanish.
Although the content itself is for the most part identical to Supernatural the Complete Season 4 on DVD, the Blu ray edition has only four discs to it and will be released on the same day. Both of these format versions have a running time of 1,152 minutes, and there are all twenty two of the seasons episodes included on each format and also some much looked forward to bonus materials and special features. These bonus features include The Mythologies of Supernatural: From Heaven to Hell, which is a 3 section featurette gallery that focuses on Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell to examine key mythological precepts. Another special feature is a creator commentary on three of the key episodes. In addition, fans will be able to experience the extended and deleted scenes that were never aired and also a gag reel, which is always a fan favorite.
Supernatural the complete season 4 on DVD is presented in high definition 1080p widescreen. The Blu ray version of the collection will be available on four BD 50 discs, and the suggested retail price is $79.98. There are some websites that will be offering the collection for cheaper than the suggested retail price, so keep a sharp eye out for those stores and websites. Supernatural the Complete Season 4 on DVD joins the first three seasons as being available for fans to own.
