Homemade Insecticides For Your Organic Garden are the best way to look after them unwanted bugs in your garden. Homemade organic insecticides are safe on humans and animals. Furthermore, they only kill or repel the harmful insects. They best part about them is that they can be easily made right at home. Besides this they are very inexpensive and quite easy to make. So let us get started:

Different Homemade Insecticides- Procedures To Make Them
1. Tobacco and Nicotine Spray:
Ingredients: 1 cup of tobacco and 1 gallon of water.
Put the tobacco in the water and let it set for 24 hours.Check, its color should resemble weak tea. If it is too dark add more water.
This mixture is excellent for caterpillars, aphids, and other insects.
Remember too much nicotine is poisonous. Therefore, do not use it on plants meant for human consumption.

2. Soap Spray:
Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of liquid soap and 1 gallon of water.This is very effective on slugs. Also takes care of other insects.

3. Alcohol Spray:
Ingredients: 1/2 cup of alcohol, 2-3 tablespoons of dry detergent soap, and 1 quart of warm water.
Mix the ingredients and spray immediately. Always use a fresh solution.

4. Salt Solution:
Mix 2 tablespoons of salt in 1 gallon of water and spray.

5. Garlic Spray:
Ingredients: 1 garlic bulb, 1 quart of water, 1 medium onion, 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper, and 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap.
Mince garlic and onion separately. Then mix all the ingredients in water, except liquid soap.
Let the mixture set for an hour. Strain the mixture and add soap. The mixture is ready to use.
The mixture can also be stored in fridge for a week.
It is very effective against cutworms, wireworms, whiteflies, and slugs.

6. Dead Bug Spray:
Mix 1 pint of water and a half-cup of dead slugs. Blend them well. You should use the carcasses of the insects that you want to repel.
Just spray few drops on affected plants and watch the insects disappear.
Do not use flies, ticks, fleas, or mosquitoes because many of them carry communicable human diseases.

7. Spearmint-Hot Pepper-Horseradish Spray:
Ingredients: 1/2 cup of red hot peppers,
1/2 cup of fresh spearmint, 1/2 cup of root and leaves of horseradish, 1/2 cup of green onion tops and 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent.
Mix spearmint, peppers, horseradish, and green onions in enough water to cover everything. Strain the solution and add 1/2 gallon of water and liquid soap.
This solution is effective against all kinds of bugs.

8. Tomato Spray:
Ingredients: 1 ounce of tomato leaves and one quart of water.Blend thoroughly and strain the liquid.
This is very effective against white cabbage butterflies.Why spend thousands of dollars on chemical insecticides. You can have better results with homemade organic insecticides! So switch to safer and cost effective plant care and watch your garden bloom.
