Kenny Chesney Tickets - New Woman in Chesney’s Life

July 22nd, 2009. Published under Music. No Comments.

Country superstar Kenny Chesney hasn’t always had the best of luck in his love life. Taking a listen to many of his hits, however, makes is seem like he is far from ready to settle down. He has tried a celebrity relationship in the past, and now he has reportedly decided to try someone a little more down to earth. In a recent interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Chesney revealed details about his latest love interest and said, “I have to be really careful. The game has changed.

With MySpace and Facebook, the rules have changed. There are enough people out there saying things that aren’t true - I have to be careful who I associate myself with. It’s a little tougher for me. I’m dating a girl who’s pretty levelheaded. She’s a nurse. She’s a real, normal girl. Which is what I need because my life isn’t normal.” He didn’t go so far as to reveal the identity of this girl, but that is likely to come out if the relationship lasts much longer.

Chesney hasn’t always had the best luck with relationships. He spent the first several years of his country stardom without a serious relationship. Then, he surprised nearly everyone by marrying actress Renee Zellweger in the spring of 2006 after a whirlwind romance that lasted only a few months. The pair met only months earlier at a Concerts of Hope Tsunami relief benefit and decided to get married at an intimate wedding ceremony on the island of St. Johns, which is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Unfortunately, the marriage only lasted as long as their brief courtship and the two filed for an annulment only four months after the nuptials.

Not much was heard from Chesney in the romance department following the annulment, and he instead threw himself back into his music. In 2008, Chesney decided to test the relationship waters once again and it was revealed that he was dating 2005 Miss Tennessee Amy Colley. What is interesting is that Colley is a nurse. There were reports that the pair broke up in April of 2009, so is the woman he is talking about Colley or some new nurse? Fans will just have to wait to find out, but they can see him in concert with Kenny Chesney tickets online.

Kenny Chesney wasn’t an instant success when he released his first album, In My Wildest Dreams, in 1994. He switched labels soon after and released All I Need to Know in 1995. That album made the country charts and started the momentum in Chesney’s favor. He worked his way to the top of the country charts by the time he released his first greatest hits album in 2000. Since then, he has built a reputation as a country superstar with number one singles like “You Had Me From Hello,” “How Forever Feels,” “Don’t Happen Twice,” “The Good Stuff,” “When the Sun Goes Down,” “Anything But Mine,” “Summertime,” “Never Wanted Nothing More” and “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven.” His latest release is his second greatest hits album, which easily topped country charts in 2009.
