Smallville the complete season 8 on DVD is all set to be released by Warner Home Video on August 25, 2009. Even though this was the first season without the infamous Lex Luthor, the show still enjoyed tremendous success and received thumbs up ratings from fans especially those fans who have been keeping up with the show for all eight years.
